A viral disease that generally affects the digestive system or intestinal lining.
Physical Symptoms
Lethargy, vomiting, diarrhea, loss of appetite, depression.
Cause/Transmission
Transmitted from one infected animal to another via physical contact with body fluids or fecal matter.
Treatment
Consult your veterinarian. Dehydrated animals may be placed on fluid therapy and usually symptoms will be treated. This disease generally responds very well to treatment if caught early on.
